For the first production run of the Ruffina Ruby Coat I went down to our factory in Fletcher, North Carolina to spend the spent the day working with Henry and Donna. After all the designing, prototypes, and samples, it was exciting to get down to work.
The first time I went to the factory I took the Ruby size doggiquin in my suitcase and the TSA had questions!
For this visit, I shipped the Doggiquins ahead of time to meet me there. It was helpful to have them on standby to try on each coat as we finished it.
Together, Henry, Donna and I figured out the best process to assemble the coats. Henry recently got a laser cutter, which makes the cutting process perfect.
We are excited to get the Ruby Coat out to customers and hear what they think.
