This summer I was interviewed by Pauline Brown of Tastemakers on Sirius XM radio. She wanted to understand more about why some designer-makers choose to create their products in America. I was excited to be on the show as I have a lot to say about Made in America products. When I started Ruffina.NYC I had to make a conscious choice about where I would make my products. I chose America as I wanted to give companies who are cutting and sewing in the USA my business so they can stay in business! I work with shops that pay their workers a living wage and give them the opportunity to learn and grow. I feel the industry coming back to our country as makers like me make the choice to produce in America.
