 How do I know what size to order?

Please refer to our size chart and measuring diagram. We show you how to measure your dog’s neck, girth, and length so that you can order the right size. 

Is The Ruby Coat adjustable?

Yes. Both buckles—for the neck and belly—have about 1 inch of adjustability. Polartec fleece is a knit, not a woven, so it does have some give.

Will all of your coats work with my harness?

Yes. There is a reinforced button hole sewn into the back of the coat near the neck (you’ll see it) so that you can attach your leash to your harness easily.

Are the coats washable?

Yes. Wash and dry the coat along with the rest of your family’s laundry. Use cold or warm water with a cool dryer setting.

Are the coats pee-proof? My little boy dog usually pees on his coat.

Yes - you’ll be happy to know that for most male dogs the belly buckle and strap on The Ruby Coat are forward enough to stay dry when he pees. The Bood is designed with a cutaway for a Boy's business to keep his coat nice and dry.

Is The Ruby Coat and The Bood & The Snood water resistant?

Yes. Polartec is water resistant.

Do you charge for shipping?

We offer free shipping on retail orders over $100. 

Please note that all USPS shipping times are estimated and not guaranteed. For expedited delivery, please select UPS. 
You can choose your shipping carrier and the rate at checkout. For international shipping, you are responsible for all customs charges. 
Orders placed on Friday after 12:00 Eastern or on Saturday and Sunday will ship out on Monday. 
If you need to return the coat because it does not fit, you will pay the shipping back to us. Remember to use our sizing charts! 

Refund/Return Policy

All orders are eligible for a full refund if returned unused within 30 days of the ship date. Return shipping is to be paid by the customer.

Do you share my information?

No, we do not. Your email is only for Ruffina to get back to you with new products and promotions. If you are buying from us, your credit card information goes through Shopify, our commerce provider. Shopify encrypts your credit card information through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
